Situated close to the Indo' China border, tourists have to get permission from the government before visiting this breathtakingly beautiful hill station. At the top of your list of places to visit should be the Lachung Monastery, which was built in 1850. It is surrounded by apple orchards, and coincidentally, Lachung is famous for its apples as well as peaches and apricots.

It is aptly called the ‘organic state’ of India where you can enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables straight away from the gardens. In Sikkim, take a stroll through high-altitude lovely lakes, capture the rejuvenating sights of mountains and visit the Buddhist monasteries for a blissful experience. Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim comes with its own surprises! It is a lovely city located ideally on a mountain ridge, offering rural charm. Equally enchanting is Darjeeling which is popularly known as the queens of hills. It is an enchanting Victorian town famous for its mountain beauty and Buddhist monasteries and temples. Lachung, a charming town in north Sikkim is located at an elevation of about 9,600 ft at the confluence of the tributaries of the River Teesta and Lachen River. Stunning views are a common thing here. It also serves as a base to the staggeringly beautiful Yumthang Valley.

Today we visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a holy shrine honoring Indian army soldier, folk hero and saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. Excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir. Overnight at hotel. Note: Foreigners and NRI's are restricted to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir as per Government regulations. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT THE NATHULA PASS (Remain closed on Monday & Tuesday)(INNERLINE PERMIT REQUIRED, CHARGES EXTRA).
After an early breakfast we will proceed to Lachen. The route meanders through small villages with valleys upto forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Shinghik comes next with its promises of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over 4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to the travelers on the way to Lachen ,will have our lunch on the way. Visit Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachun Chu (river) and Vimnala falls water falls on your way to Lachen. Reach Lachen in the late afternoon. Check in at hotel and overnight stay.
After a tasty breakfast, we will take the drive towards Gurudongmar Lake, which has a high altitude of 17,800ft. On the route, we will keep the beautiful scenes of Chopta Valley and Thangu. At the lunchtime, we will go back to the hotel for lunch. Before the evening, we will travel to Lachung and check-in the hotel. Stay at the hotel in Lachung for the night and rest.
After a sumptuous breakfast meal, get geared for an excursion to Yumthang valley famous for its beautiful colorful flowers. You will enjoy the grazing grounds of yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis in Yumthang valley. On the way back we will also visit the spring which is famous for its medical properties. After this we will head back to resort and post a tempting lunch we will check out from the hotel and drive to Gangtok. After reaching Gangtok we will check in and stay there for overnight. Your safety is our responsibility.
After a delicious breakfast start check-out process, we will drive to Kalimpong. Which is a city full of tourist spots and we will cover most of them in one day. After the hotel check-in, we will head to view the beautiful sightseeing spots. Starting by Mangal Dham to Deolo Hills. Then from Dr. Graham’s Home to Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill, and Flower Nurseries. Al of the places have things to rest your eyes on. Later on that, we will head back to the Hotel and rest for the night.
After breakfast leave for Darjeeling Reaching up on, you will be escorted to the hotel for the check-in, we will continue our voyage and visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN Zoological Park, which is usually closed on Thursday, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help center, which is closed on Sunday. We will then visit the outer part of the famous Tea Garden, Ropeway and Japanese Temple. After that, we will retreat our day and will get back to the hotel and stay there for the night. You will find joy and we will not let get bored.
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (World’s 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY). Breakfast at the Hotel followed by half day local Best points sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday), Ropeway (entry fees not included), walk around visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Evening Free for shopping & individual activity, overnight at hotel.
