Upon your arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Leh, located at an altitude of 3,000 meters, is known for its breathtaking landscapes and tranquil atmosphere. As you arrive, take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. This rest day is crucial to avoid any altitude sickness and fully enjoy your Ladakh experience. In the evening, you can explore the local area at your leisure. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, you’ll head out for a full-day sightseeing tour of the Sham Valley. Start by visiting the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred Sikh pilgrimage site nestled in the Himalayas. Next, visit the Magnetic Hill, a famous spot where vehicles appear to roll uphill due to a unique optical illusion. Explore the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where the two rivers meet in a stunning natural display of colors. In the afternoon, head to Likir Monastery, one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries, known for its impressive architecture and large Buddha statue. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey to Nubra Valley, driving through the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La, at 18,390 feet. This pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. En route, stop at Diskit Village to visit the Diskit Monastery, which is over 500 years old. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, check in to your camp and relax. In the evening, you can explore the nearby Hunder Village or enjoy a camel safari through the Nubra Desert.
After an early breakfast, visit the sand dunes near Hunder, where you can enjoy a Bactrian camel ride across this high-altitude desert flanked by snow-capped peaks.Continue to Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest in Nubra, offering breathtaking valley views and a towering statue of Maitreya Buddha. Explore the small Diskit Bazaar, then begin your journey back to Leh via Khardung La. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening. Overnight in Leh.
After an early breakfast, set out for Pangong Lake, driving through Changla Pass (17,586 ft), one of the highest mountain passes in Ladakh. En route, pass through the charming Sakti Village, and stop at Tangtse for refreshments. Arrive at the iconic Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 ft, stretching over 133 km, with two-thirds extending into China. The lake’s ever-changing hues of blue and its tranquil setting make it a highlight of the trip. After spending time by the lakeside, drive back to Leh by evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
After a delicious breakfast, check out of your hotel and prepare for your departure. Our representative will escort you to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of this unforgettable Ladakh experience.
