Upon your arrival in Jodhpur, your private driver will greet you at Jodhpur Airport/ Railway Station and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and rest of the day is at your leisure and rest. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
After breakfast, we explore Ummaid Bhavan Palace Musuem – almost 75 years old architectural marvel now turned into museum showcasing artistic murals, opulent miniature paintings, vintage clocks and unusual household paraphernalia. In the afternoon, we visit the Mehrangarh Fort – which stands four hundred feet above the skyline of Jodhpur. The fort is burnished in Red Sandstone and its colossal structure is surely impressive in all manner. Here we will see Moti Mahal – largest room in fort whose ceiling is decorated with Gold Leaves, Sea Shells and Mirrors, Phool Mahal – Pleasure dome of the Maharajas, Sheesh Mahal – Decorative mirror palace with brightly coloured paintings, Silah Khana – place where weapons were stored, Daulat Khana – treasure vault and Rang Mahal. Later we visit Jaswant Thada – a royal cenotaph built in the white marble also known as Taj Mahal of Marwar. We then see the Sanganeri Block Prints Demonstration – a hand-block printing technique originating from Sanganer. In the evening we have free time for shopping. After that return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel, the driver will pick you up and take you the Golden City of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer – Golden City of desert famed for its yellow sandstone architecture. On arrival check-in to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. After chek in formalities you can take blissful boat ride in Gadisar Lake surrounded by many temples, shrines and Ghats. Later we enjoy delightful puppet show – a preserved ancient folk art of Rajasthan. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, hence also known as Golden Fort (Sonar Quila). Next visit Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli. Salim singh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings. In the evening, proceed for camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes. Take the camel safari and immerse in the spirit of Rajasthan all through the night by staying in the mud-huts, meeting warm and rustic people of Rajasthan and have a touch of their culture with their lively music, folk dance, singing performances and other cultural programs. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer camps.
After breakfast we proceed to Bikaner – former capital of princely state of Bikaner and known worldwide for its savoury snacks Bikaneri Bhujia. En route we visit the Jaisalmer War Museum – established in the military station in order to honour the soldiers of the 'Battle of Longewala' that was fought in the year 1971. It embraces the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Later, you will visit the Junagarh Fort, built in 1611 AD. Other places that are worth visiting here include Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal and Bijai Phool Mahal. Overnight stay at Bikaner.
After breakfast, we visit Karani Mata Temple – a Hindu temple dedicated to Karani Mata and famous for the approximately 25,000 black rats that live and are revered in the temple. Later we explore the Junagarh Fort – an impressive fort standing with all its regal glory as an epitome of architectural brilliance. The dazzling and exquisite structures of this fort, balconies, gardens and kiosks etc. depicts a composite architectural style influenced by cultural differences of Indian and foreign inspirations. Here we see Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, and Prachina Museum and Sadual Museum. Other places of interest include the famous camel breeding farm just outside the town (closed on Sundays). In evening return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from hotel and move towards Mandawa. A quaint little town in a heart of Shekhavati region popularly known as Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. The town is replete with paved Archways, Magnificent Havelis and Fortresses. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The evening is booked to visit the Shekhawati region and explore the frescoes and painted Havelis followed by a camel ride. Overnight stay at Mandawa.
After breakfast, you will be taken on a trip to Mandawa fort. It is an 18th century fort famous for arched gateway, paintings of Lord Krishna, mirror work, antiques and others. The fort is built in medieval theme and is now a heritage hotel. You can find many ancient paintings in this fort. There is various other tourist attractions in Mandawa like as Castle Mandawa, Gulab Rai Wadia Haveli, Chowkhadi Haveli, Goenka Duoble Haveli. If time allows then you can visit these attractions. Evening return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and move towards Jaipur Airport/Railway Station. It’s time now to say goodbye to our travel companions.
